Sukkot 2024/5785

Sukkot is a highlight of the Shtiebel year - join us in our Sukkah and our space for spirited prayer, connective gatherings, nourishing meals, and vibrant Torah learning throughout the holiday!

About Sukkot in South Philadelphia

Join the South Philadelphia Shtiebel for meaningful Sukkot celebrations and events throughout the holiday! Events include daily davening, communal meals, Torah learning, and special activities like a Sukkah hop with Mekor Habracha and a Tot Sukkah Singalong and Puppet Show. We'll host full Kiddush lunches on the first days of Chag, and this year, we'll have community potlucks (based on the Shtiebel's Kashrut Guidelines) for the first days of Chag dinners.

Sukkot begins on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, at 6:00 PM in Philadelphia. The holiday continues through October 24th, with many opportunities to connect and celebrate with our Jewish community in South Philly.
